The Alkali Flats began with Chris Harvey and I passing a guitar around a campfire somewhere around 2000, and over the years transformed into a band that led to a more electrified honky tonk, Western Swing sound with the addition of many instruments. A US tour, a few European tours, and playing all over the Western US, plus releasing several CDs kept the band busy for over ten years.
